contort,
trick,
tantalize?

Be aware:
wipe
off
the gloss
of hype.

I think this sums up the question of hype, of what the intent is. Nicely done, made me think about it. :)

Something quite new from Rhiannon! And I believe there's more than meets the eye. And what of manic and hypermanic and hypomanic? Psychotic and A-psychotic? Acute or chronic. Deluded and depressed. Angry and aggresive. Balanced? Just some more ideas words can be very desceptive.

Fashion. Always the hype. New and newer pills all the time. Same person same soul.

I enjoy the sounds of words, but I hope use them to tease out real meaning, not to add to confusion! We can so easily use words wrongly or with misunderstanding.

I suppose words can be used descriptively or deceptively, and so with hype and advertisement and fashion pressure, peer pressure.

The words you mention cover some troubling things. Thanks for your thoughts, Rhiannon
