To kill a fly …

That irritating buzz
from somewhere nearby
when nearly time for sleep –
sounds like a mozzie/fly.

He skulked around
with swatter-bat
but nothing found
for swiping flat.

So for a little while
his tablet-book he read
then shut it up, dozed off
- a sleepy head.

Next morning up and busy
his tablet opened by and by,
and there across the text on screen
he found a dead squashed fly!

‘Ugh!!’, he said.
