of the cost

Thanks for pointing out the typo, Ewan! Not sure what you meant by 'how did it go down?'.

I wanted something humorous on the lines of such words, and on failing to get something meaningful, tried to write 'good' nonsense, something I've not tried really, and presumed there should be a hint of it seeming to mean something, but not really, but presenting a nice sound of words.

In that song you linked to, it's not nonsense but a cynical feeling that everyone's just going through the motions of living isn't it? Rhiannon

The rhyme really reminds one of a rap song. No offence meant. Earnestly. You do get good rap music and there's lots of gospel rap most of that is very good. There is excellent heavy metal gospel too. "Why should the devil get all the good music?"

Thanks, Nolan. This was just a bit of fun, but I agree that good use of rhyme helps impact and is enjoyable as well as useful in making songs  memorable, and we should always work at writing truth in a pleasing and memorable way!

An afterthought: When copying musical trends that are used in secular or even sometimes for immoral words, I guess one would want to check that words we use are clearly audible, and conveying a holy and happy message, and are not thought to be carrying a similar ugly one to those of a similar tune?!

phew! Am so glad I read the comments, I tried reading this several times and got lost after the first few lines. Made me remember Maths classes. But it's not meantr to make sense?

That's right! Sorry if it tried your patience and brain! I thought it sounded like science can sometimes sound when you're not sure the person knows what their talking about or is misleading you with fine-sounding words. Gobbledygook really. Rhiannon
