[Continuing the hymn-for-Sundays series]
We ‘hope-so’ hope express, desire
for all a healthy, happy state,
but hope-God-given is sure, secure –
the promised blessings full await.
Not yet, but know that it will come.
The light ahead is seen by faith,
and tasted now by everyone
who life in Christ receive, new birth.
It’s totally reliable,
– each promise, rule that God has said –
unrockable, unchangeable;
He’s told us what awaits, ahead.
