[Continuing the hymn-for-Sundays series]

The gospel is the door to heaven,
because it is th'amazing way
of reconciliation with
the One from whom we'd gone astray.
And that is more important than,
a life beyond this mortal span
 
Would you be happy in that place
if Christ were not found there also?
Then be aware you will not find
an entry, for you do not know
the offer of  the gospel grace
is to return to God’s embrace.
 
So is your heart now centred on
the King’s desires and fellowship,
no longer fixed upon your fun,
but on His will, your stewardship
and He your love, your Master, Friend
to know and on his grace depend?

Beautiful! And yes, it's not a game we're playing for keeps. I am out of circulation with the electricity loadshedding and that trying to catch up with the reading.

Thank you, sorry about the continuing electricity cuts. I suppose in such your mother would have encouraged you to 'keep your chin up', persevere, and be thankful for what you do have!

Yes, when have our delight and reverence for the Lord God and knowing him, we find such richer happiness.
