One Family!

Brother, sister,
shy or bold,
sick or healthy,
babe or old,
tall or short,
clever, slow–
a variety of all sorts,
some irritate, difficult to
understand, and know;

celebrities, well-dressed,
and people bankrupt, broke,
depressed,
slave or free,
rich, or with no fickle
financial security,
those allowed to demonstrate (and loot?),
or those who live where authorities
free speech quash – incarcerate or shoot;

those who make trouble,
those who make peace,
the righteous, or those in a racket,
and those who used to be wicked,
the freckled, the blind,
black or white,
weak or strong –
don’t split into cliques,
each other fight,
belittle, do wrong –
    we’re all related humankind:
    every individual
    matters – respect,
    don’t deliberately hurt, despise
    your neighbours or your enemies
    or those across political divides.
