One small change … ? (a:general)

If he hadn’t said that word,
or she hadn’t told of what she’d heard,
there might have never been that revolution,
there might have been an amiable solution …

– but, something else might have occurred
which to a worse disaster spurred:

so we never can tell
which is really just as well,
but it’s very good to know
there’s an ultimate plan
that no-one ever can
prevent or stop or thwart,
which its author won’t abort.
