all life through
the foolish ‘you’

what it wants,
resistant
to authority
though mutiny, anarchy
no boundaries
and ignorant choices:
breed
misery.

That image you have made is quite scary! Your message is resisting what is best because it's not easy or nice, and choosing to give up struggle, for a quick pleasure? How seeking pleasure can control us, I had not thought of that before, being such a difficult thing to learn at two

The first part was meant to be referring to our natural desire to 'be our own king' and not be submissive to authority, which starts at about 2, but is there throughout life. So, resisting what is really for our good.

The second part is the temptations that need to be resisted to do wrong, but disguised to seem fun and no matter. the 'Come, join with us, don't be a spoil-sport', 'don't be stuck-up', - 'there's no harm in it' 'you'll have fun, that's what is important' (never mind if you end up doing wrong, and harming others) - such need to be resisted. When got into doing wrong it can control us, and difficult to break away (that's where God in Christ can help us ) I wasn't thinking of this at two, though the beginnings are there I suppose.
