Insisting on honour,
he lost their respect,
absorbed with himself,
he could not connect
with the thoughts and the wants of those around:
a lonely man, who didn’t know
the love he had not found.

Hi Rhiannon

This is very profound for being so short. I think lots of people (including my son) are a bit like that - unaware of much of what the rest of the world wants and needs from him. But luckily he has a good woman in his life now, who seems to understand him very well, and is not bothered too much, hopefully, about how little he understands her.
