Up from Titley (2/3/20)

Blue sky and sunshine
(though a brief smattering of snowflakes mixed with rain
at the top,
and a sprinkling of hail at the end of our snack)
struggling through boot-sucking mud-goo paths,
sometimes bordered by snagging, tripping bramble-snakes
(– step on them where possible)
and over water-logged tussocky fields:
well, the storms have soaked and saturated the land!

– up the hill and down again with glorious far views.
