Not too cold, and not too hot,
breath of cool air when we’ve had a lot
of beating sun for days and days –
gardens need rain for the flowers to blaze.
We look around our universe,
realise that things could be very much worse,
‘here’s not perfect now, but still
better than Mars, or Mercurian grill.
Can’t control the daily weather;
[d’you think if you could, that your scheme would be better?]
gratitude is mixed with moan –
wanting to be where we’ll never want to groan.

We're so lucky to have the seasons in this county Rhiannon, I don't think I could live in a permanant heatwave.

I agree that we for the most part have a pretty good climate. And when we crave sun, and get it, we always seem relieved to have a break from it for awhile.
