What if …? (IP)

Man has always been religious
– women too are curious, cautious,
– are there gods? or unknown forces?
– fears, suspicious, superstitious:
but suggestions made mysterious,
enslaving customs odd, capricious,
worries, pressures, stress malicious …
are dispelled by revelation
truth that’s true cuts through confusion:
Source omniscient alone
knows all truth and makes it known,
– from foolish notion and fixation
bread of truth brings liberation.

Hi Rhiannon
Hi Rhiannon
This is a very well thought out poem - somehow bridging the gap between superstition and the need for some sort of unknown power that controls lives, with your religious beliefs.
