Dim December
mid December
Heavy grey
day
dull trees
still trees (storm past)
damp and dreary
wet and weary.
Separate
isolate
insulation,
illlumination:
winter refuge snug.

I like the way the poem moves
I like the way the poem moves from grey and brooding to insular and snug.
A season in a nutshell.
Beautifully done, Rhiannon.
