Whispers insinuate,
slither in,
infecting
dripping twisted truth,
injecting –
subtly soothe,
side track
brain contagion-spies,
(whose role to sweep and scan,
engulf trouble-making lies,
analyse the fake,
false-reasoning-germs
sliding in).
Mental infection barriers:
filter, catch, think,
wide-awake.

That's clever, joining fake news with an infection, and reason being like the immune system! And all the in words too. But an uncomfortable read at the beginning, good to have the shock of  "wide-awake" at the end

Yes, wide awake, so as not to be taken in easily by absorbing ideas thoughtlessly.

And of course the Bible is a good help to analysing what things are right too.
