Why worry? Rather …

[Continuing the hymn-for-Sundays series]
Fear of the future,
all that’s unknown,
helpless to mould it,
weakness we own.
Fear’s unproductive
unless it turn,
trust One who’s sovereign,
confidence learn.
New deep anxiety,
or background stress –
worry can’t help us,
brings more distress.
Jesus exhorts us
on Him to lay
burdens, to free us
for duties each day.
World's pleasures, riches
worries increase.
Treasures in heaven
bringing us peace,
We have no need to
be anxious for –
He’ll always help us
just as before.
Matthew 6:19-34

be happy
Very true Rhiannon! When I really worry I tell myself "don't worry" "it will be Ok" and just a quick little prayer upwards.Works for me. Think also of the pop song "don't worry be happy".
All the best and no worries! & Nolan
