Wind in my hair!

Blowing, freshening, blustery gusts
bracing, racing,
whisking, frisking
decluttering clinging, clogging cobwebs –
cast out fast by whooshing blast,
invigorated, no more shrinking, sinking,
gloomy, weary weight oppressing, stressing,
breeze-brightened eyes;
leaf litter crisped up, skitters, and flies,
complexions flushed and towels fluffed,
clouds scurrying, people hurrying
swoop, scoot and scuttle into dens calm and cosy
soul singing, ears ringing, cheeks chafed and rosy.

Hi Rhiannon
Hi Rhiannon
I nearly had to shut the window when reading this - it produced such a fresh breeze.
I enjoyed reading it. I like the wind too, if it isn't from the frozen north.
