The Wind in the Willows

The wind in the willows,
leaves sway and flutter,
the sun on the river –
glints spark, ripples glitter,
the peace of the glade,
light, warmth, leafy shade,
soft green of the meadow
with medley of flowers
buzzing and teeming
with life on the wing
or crawling and climbing
the stems, and all thriving
in climate’s peak, plateau :
so pause in the tableau
of water and willow.
and later in winter
remembrances picture
the scene, bring new pleasure,
enliven your leisure.

Beautiful Rhiannon! “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters”.

That's special Rhiannon, thankyou for being so wonderful :0) The rhythm is perfect, quick as the flickering light and the whole brings such a feeling of everything being right in the world. Brilliant. Can only echo what Luigi says!
