an idea for a short poem.

them life on your

writing pad – such as

the rainbow on your

mothers face

a bark from your dog Ace

and how tail feathers

shake when young sparrows

receive food direct from

momma’s beak.

I get it, thanks grandpa –

patterns of colour shiver

in parallels across your face

noticed by a dog’s

barking embrace and a 

host of younger feathers

accept lunch from mother’s

care & loving touch.
