His shriek-y voice

is raucous – poignant in

its delivery

 

this outdoor star not

only carries his

sleek blue colours proudly

 

emblazoned on

his trim body

 

also

a fair sized creature

able to fly great

distances

& available as a

good friend-

 

my favourite bird

loyal & true.

Just googled the Blue-Jay, and such nice looking bird, I don't recall seeing or hearing one when visting Kentucky, the Red Cardinal was more noticeable in our friends garden.
