A Circle of Movement

Can you hear the music

in a child’s touch?

 

or clamour of wind across

hills, winding

 

through woods that provide

a home for fur & fowl,

 

hiss of current’s swell

or moonlight’s brush upon

this land?

 

If you can,

you are the wind that roars

a river that winds --

moon on a night of love.

You are very kind, Tina. Many years ago, my poet friend (now deceased last year) said that poetry was his mistress. To me, poetry writing is a must and a giant part of my life. I enjoy reading your work too, even though I don't always comment on so many superb poems and stories from ABC writers..
