TV is a messenger’s tongue
Provides reality conveys
Hurtful moments analyzing taking
Place until the media
Decides my maximum patience
An item catches my interest
When South of Timbuktu a Dogon
Man sits on weathered rocks awaits
Celebrations to begin the Mask
Dance prayer of protection
From vengeful deceased animals
My coffee aromatic taste
Quickening my lips from a soft sofa
I glance at surrounding comforts
Bowl of grapes a treat and TV
Easily propelling me away from
The world that man must survive in.

Absolutely... I stopped
Absolutely... I stopped watching tv years ago. It is Orwellian to me, full of Newspeech that doesn't amount to hill of beans at the end of the day. I have 8 different News sources on this thing. That is sufficient depression all on its own ! lol ( and still Orwellian in nature ) We humans must extensively search to find "truth" and personally I think the powers that be like it that way. They know for the most part we are creatures of comfort, and do not like to leave our cages that often *smirks*
Much enjoyed this :)
