I once lived in the world

by myself—

all covered in silence.

 

Within the boundaries

of life

I discovered

people who say they love you

really love you.

 

And I learned to believe.

As I approach my 76th birthday on September 10, 2018 I realize how much people have loved me, without words but through simple acts of kindness and consideration -- such powerful acts of humanity. I grieve for those who have not yet discovered such piece of mind -- never give up seeking it. RLP.
