Don’t Cry

anymore baby. You see
it’s now only you and me

mommy’s gone – I could
not hold her this time.

I tried baby
even thought these legs
can’t dance no more

and the fun we used to have
is just a memory
from before my tour
in Afghanistan.

But I know one thing honey
we’ll make it
you and I -- yes we will.
