Nineteen’s legal in some parts
chug-a-lugging drafts
in two's and three's
money just paper shifting
from one pocket to another
waitress happy with her kind
of crowd
stale jokes and fish ‘n chips
with lots of beer
a noisy bunch. Tips
are good.
Some can't down a glass
fast enough but
why worry
the porcelain bowl is always
ready for another
customer
excitement flowing as
laughter
through the melee
along with an extra round
of drinks.

Love it! As has been said, the atmosphere is we'll captured. The last stanza is great; it creates a warm image that is certainly a satisfying ending to the poem.
