Where did the years go
as I look at all the wrinkles
collected from years gone by?
Kids grown—
now just the wife and I.

The accumulated belongings,
The accumulated belongings, souvenirs, and the bodily aches and wrinkles do point to a 'bird's eye view' of the years stretching back, don't they. Makes me realise how God's eyes scan back and for over history from the perspective of eternity.Rhiannon
PS Nice to slip in the cameo of Canada's variety of landscape as well in such a short verse!
