Clouds are similes high
with fluffy gobs
as marshmallow puffs
I share a smile – an ice cream
too and my friends are
laughing with me
and we stare with eyes
as huge magnifying glasses
bulbs of light floating
drops dripping
all over me – smacking my
arm and the mess
from a sea gull who
happened by
in spite of my outdoor glee.
I laugh with the memory.
