A Feast of Delight

The robin is a grass-runner
flitting across the lawn back of
the church. Hurries across each
hump of grass. Nodding often
with his busy beak signaling
confusion among worms below
the surface. Big mistake. When
they investigate robin is waiting
and he continues to meander
until another catches his view.
The end. A morsel of delight.
This activity is a daily dream
as fellow robins take time
celebrating a meal back of the
church serene on a worm
feed day of the week.
