is a potpourri of
destruction
blackened toothpicks
in never-ending bunches
leftover road threading
around an
army of skinless trees.
Its breath of fury
captured a helicopter
and three
passengers along
with deer-mice-bird
carcasses
asleep forever
among 10,000 acres of
smouldering
at Trafalgar Nova Scotia.
