Home on the Bay
Lobster boats are
anxious on ocean’s
gentle swells as
clouds glow from
the far side
of sun’s surrounding
dim. Hill a
backdrop for one
last wink of sky.
And in the morning
boats will prowl
as pussycats
for bites of cod
where a reunion
of sea gulls
proclaim their share.
