I paint the world

on a stick --

the good and bad

of it

 

how it’s used –

 

to blow away a protestor?

Seek friendship through

an offering of protection?

 

Light a fire

with it as a fueling agent?

Or whack away the enemy?

 

I prefer to use it

as an act of love, using it

to reach you as you

escape a pit

of strife and oppression.
