Such noisy clatter
upon my bedroom panes
amid the growth of
a swelling snow-storm
comes to visit us
& so I abide in
the mystery of its ways
as it first seeks solace
upon the frame
of our tiny backyard
porch where a favoured
person - my wife
of almost 49 years
shares bird-watching
& now this storm causes
such disruption here
may be a need
for a new hobby-
possibly online chess?
