Amongst a forest of green
Kennabi kingly rests,
and near his stately shore
the water floods,
gently licking its way
at the land,
comes slap, slapping
at the Haliburton shore.
The tall wind-soaked trees
stand whispering still;
over low slung, pine-dotted ridges
rushing can be audibly heard,
of dancing water that slap, slaps
at the foam studded shore.

Hi Richard,
I do not know of the Kenabi Kingly, or of the
Haliburton shore, but I loved this poem all the
same.
