A Journey for Generations

During 1950 cowboys years
Tom Mix and Roy Rogers were
heroes to a copycat gang,
with cap-guns and
“Hi Ho Silver!” commands.
It was heroic conversation for
grade school companions,
kids hurrying to save friends
from desperadoes; and protect
towns as we boldly fought
right vs wrong, riding
high on our imaginations---
villains now layered between
TV programming and hard
core violence, children
thumbing high-tech games,
leaving police and cool lawyers
use rule of law against those
law-breaking bad guys in suits.
