A man on a journey
is full of questions

during evening walks alone
in the moonlight
wonders when the right
lady will come along
someone to soothe his
sorrows. To help nourish pride
and worthwhile causes.

Within the corral of his
being there
is a desire to discover truths
and to feel self-worth --
overcoming mountains
along the shores
of life. Hard work and focus

does bring success. And after
a bowl of ice-cream
continues his searching.

A complete and telling piece. I like how you broke stanzas in a single sentence at the end. I might understand the male thought pattern better post reading this. :)
