I knew a man

who knew no limits

in his heart-

worked in the Copper

mine – walked twelve

miles to get the cheque

to carry his family

knew no limits

of his love for a wife

and children – 12 of them

and I saw pride

and hard work

in him as I laboured

in the beauty of his day.
