Thank you for my life. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for a chance to rekindle the fire in my belly, to inhale the presence of your love and holiness. For an opportunity to deal with unforgiveness, to pierce it with a deathly blow before it consumed my soul.
Thank you for the Covenant that I inherited from Abraham, the father of nations, for promised salvation and comradeship, inherited before the atoms of my being gathered together. And once again I am able to claim my future, my vision unfolding as you designed it to be. Thank you for raising me up from sickness and disabilities.
How kind to take me from the brink of a comatose position eight years ago, allowing me to once again listen to the hearts of others, providing me with eyes seeking truths. And to listen to my pleas of continuing life’s request, which you presented me with.
To walk, talk and gaze upon loved ones, to discourse with doctors and nurses, and chuckling about that period of uncertainly, bound in hopelessness.
You blessed me during my recovery. You took me from high blood pressure, inability to walk, nor talk, to recreating my life once again. You brought me back to driving, walking with my wife, re-connecting with friends and family, as well as reminding me writing is still a desirable trait to inhabit. You blessed me with boldness for words, creating new-style sentences, typing out life-styled phrases, with paragraphs of hope, turning words in new directions, all within a blanket of prayers.
And you encouraged me through the love of my very precious wife, Esther, who stood by in spite of painful stress due to future’s uncertainty, and fearful thoughts of a stroke attempting to reclaim me as its shadow lingered through the years.
I am very proud, dear Father of Jesus--my Healer, and of the Holy Spirit placed within me to encourage and guide me. I also continue to be a loyal member of your army of Christians. Now I move on to the next exciting chapter in my life. Amen. Amen. Amen.
