is bold enough to feed
a flock of pigeons
anxious to survive
the winter
without having to scrounge
or dig through layers.
He can easily be called
an unknown man
easily disappearing
into night-time silhouettes.
Neighbours don’t enjoy
any messages in early
morning white
as loose feathers hurry
over shiny car roofs.

Great piece of writing Richard and I loved those
last two lines:-
as loose feathers hurry
over shiny car roofs.
They say if a feather falls from the sky, it's
an angel letting you know they're there.
Love to read your words, keep up the poetry and
prose always.
Jenny.
