Points of View

Time is but a moment
a capsule in space
designed to attract our attention
and we pause
deliberate
at the consequences of our actions
because we are adults
who wish to surmise
to pontificate

and celebrate our views.

Once upon a time as a child
we merely stretched
forth into action
not worrying about consequences
or finding hazards in life

oh for those days of innocence
when stars were watching
you turn in at night
and rainbows did have pots of gold.
