Prayer – For a Very Dear Sister - Susan

“Yes, I have given you power to tread underfoot
serpents and scorpions and the whole strength
of the enemy; nothing shall ever hurt you. Yet
do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you;
rejoice rather that your names are written in
heaven.” Luke 10:19-20 (The Jerusalem Bible)

Oh God, thank you for our sister Susan’s life. In
spite of the limiting health in her body, remove
any fear seen in the eyes of family and other
precious ones; their pain and concern about what
she is experiencing.

Allow her troubled limbs a recovery which will astound those who do not believe in the power of prayer, and agree with those who do. Let our minds be renewed as our prayers reach out to You in words and thoughts.

Let there be success through supernatural
guidance to Dr. Yaron Shargall who also operated
on Susan successfully three years past. May the
future be filled with love, and grateful eyes.

And may we dance in delight to the miracle of full
recovery without limitations knowing our God and
His angels have been present during this
operation and that she comes to know You more my Lord.

Note:
Susan Grech underwent a life-saving operation on St.Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton, Ontario. Her lung and esophagus were removed.

After contracting pneumonia she was placed in an induced coma, and is expected to be taken off it Feb 25th, or 26th. We thank our ABC family for their ongoing prayers.

Susan is only 59, divorced and has one son. She has been alcohol free for twelve years and has been a volunteer counselor for the same period of time, with people who have similar addictions.

Heart felt Richard. I admire conviction, so therefore I admire this. I wish in a way that belief was my lot because I can see that it is a wonderment to those on whom it is bestowed. Thinking of you and your predicament and anticipation of better times.

Dear ABC friends---jolono, Stan, hudsonmoon, scratch, and marionwozere. Your kind comments regarding my sister are wonderfully appreciated and helping to carry me through these moments. It is certainly different when a serious health situation attacks your own family. I just finished this poem a short while ago and dedicate it to all those kind ABC folks who sent such precious comments re Susan. "The vapour is my sister winding between life's fence. And I return from the journey of sadness, now replenished and seeking the home where we are comfortable as a family." I also posted this poem. A Hint of Vapour Salient in evening’s twilight curls like a snake in the midst of temperature with minus degrees like a pole-lamp with curlicue twisting that demands a firm grip and hardy for those who dare take the risk. From afar we feel stiffness in its joints---snowshoes drifting apart in journey’s return. And we thrill at the sight of being home again. © 2013 Richard L. Provencher

new Richard L. Prov Hello! Richards and Esther,Susan, used to read the bible,trained after all been through! Something like may god watch over you,give him his healing touch for Susan,nothing will harm or hurt her. Pray regularly the name,or photo asking for his healing. As I prayer and many will on AbcTales. Take all pain away,in his name will do it. I never asked. Took years of healing,so just close your eyes,ask and always pray. Well done on cherries! Especially many things hard to write. May Susan improve everyday. I know all what you say. God bless you all xx.

Thank you kindly, Cav. All prayers are welcome and yes we too pray regularly. Each morning for at least 45 minutes, mostly for other people, friends and even strangers referred to us. I found out in a very direct way how prayers do work. Overcoming my leaking aneurysm is living proof. I wrote several stories about the event and they are posted on ABCt.... You may have read them. I also found out the secret to prayer---get out of yourself and pray for others. Richard and Esther.
