Rain or Shine

Neighbour Harry taught

me much about the woods

called me ‘tadpole’

all the time as

I learned the

value of a mosquito net

placing worms on my hook

hard at first

how to use a compass

& know the direction a

deer came from - also

what kind of  bird

called out to an

evening sky.

Harry is gone now

and I did

celebrate his

entry into another realm.
