lose their childhood wearing military
fatigues, grasping an AK-47, cap on tight,
grimness in those eyes. “Killing, easy
as planting vegetables,” one said later.
In this rebel army of little men, madness is war.
“Why must you kill in the morning of your
manhood?” I ask.
