A feather popped

from his head-band

that kept long hair from

grieving his eyes-

this fine young man.

He was more than

just a boy-

He was like Superman

He was Captain Marvel

even at times Spider Man.

His imagination was

huge as a sky

and much more

than just playing with toys.

He sounds like an American indian tribal boy with an adventurous imagination.

This poem appealed to the child in me.
