scribblings on spaces
where some don’t want ‘em
circulars of undercurrent.
Slogans. At times
slurs police want removed
partly signed
a memento for I was here
perhaps a cartoon or a
demeaning word -- belittling.
Growing up angry
wasn’t anything
childhood had planned
a knight of round table days
jumping
into a pool fully clothed --
an innocent kiss on evening’s night
much better as a prize.
Then chasing girls at the beach
and wrestling boys with
defining hopes
growing muscles can be
impressive --
nasty slogans will never
replace
good memories .
or a midnight race.

I'm a bit 2 ways about tags
I'm a bit 2 ways about tags Richard. I keep telling myself that kids are so innocent and should be forgiven. They're not pretty these tags but they are an expression. Perhaps the kids' parents should be made to answer?
