is a collector of momentary wishes
left over lip impressions
on pop cans
fingerprints gobbling chip bags
and tidbits of pizza
a few seagulls would love to feast.
Today’s city is a mirror
of similar intentions
where throw away citizens disappear
into urban cracks
and missed opportunities shunt
ideals into alleys of
forgotten dreams
sometimes one escapes—

Reminds me other day, mine saw squirrel's
tail,covered up in road,may been hit,running
in our garden etc; went to look,no tail, there
was seagull, yes! squirrel laying in his back, dead
seagull pulling it up the road, pecking it,felt sick!
Mine got black bag,and removed and washed his hands. Once I got hit by large wings spans, from seagull, bright sparkly top! from writing group, homeless and all went, didn't know building high,up nesting was,it dive bombed! clouted me so low! got paper out photoed,in garden it said "Scary
Seagull hit me," etc; I had done poem, maybe didn't like. Had to not smile! I wasn't at first happened.
They walk and strut up the road here! inland.
take care.
