Tree Fort
I saw their cabin
a-building
in these woods
with one sentry high
upon the wooden heights,
familiar shouts from
neighbour-children
measuring and pounding
and growing tall
amid life’s rush of noise,
a secret spot to
fill their souls, time
for special friends
they say…
a fun place, with lots of
space.
