Today is a virgin of hope
and yoke of sun
a promise of encouragement

does wonders for sleepy
eyes tumbling from
drowsy behaviour
stumbling into a fresh day

one with hope
one with joy
with an erasure
to wash away old desires.

Take a deep breath
open the door
a joy of life in the air
favoured cat by your side

garden full of energy
wind caressing bare shoulders
cup of coffee
stirring the soul --

make this morning last
until way past noon.
