WHAT I SEE AND DON'T

The crack of sudden thunder
escalates river’s roar
tumbling showers
pelting
a tourist-filled boat
below majestic Niagara Falls--
a loon’s lament completes
layers of accolades in the throes
of evening twilight
a natural calling during
feasts of glory--
an eagle’s swoop returns
as a boomerang -- sculpts the sky
eyes fierce
on a shopping trip
for little ones--.
brother and sis playing
on the beach
one will inhabit a male’s ambition
the other to create
a future for precious babies.
