When I See

When I See

a large tree branch

poking at the sky

it looks like God’s finger

reaching out to

help birds

needing a little rest-

as snow clings to the wood

it melts for moisture

ah a good drink-

the branch

also acts as a roof

giving shelter

for little forest creatures

below.
