Why Should Summer

 

have all the fun

sunny days stretched

with rays of warmth

 

lakes slapping wet

trout poking at surfaces

moose bellowing in their

land of might-

 

I watch – listen

& understand

 

something about Summer

leads me to swim

& run through a

rainy day

in the joy

of a memoir season.
