is full of sorrow
and silence, but mine
drips raindrops
collecting lollipops
in descending colours.
I can see chickadees in
full frenzy, feathers
humming like that other
bird, arm in arm with
the sun, a drink of water to
cool off . And in the evening
of my return, I see Sun’s
delightful chant, of sleepy
sky and starlight friends
in full view.
I know cheers and jeers
are in this wide world
as well as torn jeans
and second hand views; I
also know that wheels turn
round and around returning to
full view, a soul and heart
uniting in one magic moment.

As always a pleasure to read
As always a pleasure to read your stuff Richard, especially this one full of your usual acute imagery. "arm in arm with the sun" a wonderful line of poetry. One tiny observation if I may? Consider capitalising "sun" (last word, second line, third stanza) In doing so I think it would add a little more to the personification that you have so masterfully constructed.
Great as always, thanks Richard.
